Beach Surprise Proposal

I got a phone call at my studio. “Do you have availability to shoot my brother’s beach surprise proposal to his girlfriend? My answer is yes! I was so excited! I told his sister that he has to plan his beach surprise proposal with me so I can capture their special moments together.

The next day I got the email from him about his plan. He explained he wanted to walk around the beach and then find somewhere to sit. He had a special bottle of wine ready for them to enjoy a glass together. The label on the bottle said – “Will You Marry Me?” Of course when she saw the bottle, she said “YES!!!

Such a special moment to be a part of! He planned this for so long! He ordered this particular wine label since they both love drinking wine so much! How thoughtful!

I found out that Ryan J. Borucki is a professional baseball pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays for Major League Baseball!!

I was more than nervous! I wanted everything to be perfect. A surprise proposal is nerve-racking already, but when someone famous hires you to capture the most special moment in their life, I wanted to be sure I did everything just right. Moments like this make my heart beat even faster! 😂

Here they are! They are coming!

I was hired behind beach chairs, I was so afraid she was going to see me Aghh!!

Erkkk!! It’s happened so fast!! When Leah finally looked up, and had a second to breathe and process that THIS WAS REALLY HAPPENING, I walked to them and introduced myself, who’d been in on his master plan! Leah was in total shock, and soon the celebrating began.

It was beginning with a lot of plans and a lot of LOVE, and such an honor to be a part of this moment and capture their memories! The surprise, putting the ring on her hand, all happen fast! But these memories of photographs are forever! 😊
