This was Angie and Pete’s first beach vacation with their whole family. They stayed at the gorgeous Opal Sands Resort, Clearwater Beach, FL while celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary with their two daughters.
The entire family was so sweet and I can tell that they had so much joy with this photoshoot on the beach. I carefully plan all of my sessions with my client’s needs and desires in mind so that they can be completely worry free by the time they arrive. All they have to do is smile!
That being said, this family went out of their way to do some planning of their own. The coordinating outfits that they chose were really what made this beach photoshoot incredible! The soft blue and white colors they were wearing perfectly complemented the beachscape behind them. Thank you, Angie for putting together such impressive outfits!
When you’re deciding what to wear for a family photos at the beach, the best thing to remember is to keep it neutral. Neutral colors are timeless and make for photographs that won’t look outdated in a decade or two.
You don’t have to match outfits (which some people like to do, especially with younger children), but coordination is key. It just gives the family photograph a sense of oneness which is what a family is all about, but still allows some wiggle room for each family member to show off their personality. Have fun with it!
