We had their session only three weeks after Peter proposed to Hannah on the beach in Key West while they were on vacation – and on her birthday, too! They knew exactly where they wanted their engagement photos taken, and specifically requested engagement at Philippe Park in Safety Harbor. Philippe Park is known for its huge oak trees, some of which are over one hundred years old. When the sun hit the moss on the trees behind them, it created the coolest background. Engagement at Philippe Park was such a gorgeous location for this outdoorsy couple.
Although Peter and Hannah grew up on opposite ends of the world (Peter in the Czech Republic and Hannah in Georgia), fate put this sweet couple next to each other in an anatomy class seven years ago. One thing led to another, and before long they were spending their days adventuring together! I knew that they would be my ideal clients when they said that scuba diving was on their bucket list. I’ve always wanted to go! They are an adventurous duo who loves to travel together, work out, and take their dog to the park.
Neither Peter nor Hannah had ever done professional pictures before, but they could’ve fooled me! They were so comfortable in front of the camera and took my instructions so well. I love working with newbies as long as they are friendly and eager to try new things!
These two were so obviously in love and such a great couple. Peter really blew me away with how quickly he picked up on the poses. It’s not every day that you get a groom who is excited about photos, but Peter is the one who reached out to me! He sent me their outfit choices and checked in about locations. He was so on top of things!
I absolutely loved working with Hannah and Peter. They were so friendly to talk to and engage with, resulting in such natural photos. I cannot wait for their Atlantic City wedding.
