Engagement Beach Photos for Amanda and Nick on The Sand Key Beach.
From the minute I first heard from Amanda and Nick, I knew we were going to have an amazing beach photos adventure! They were traveling from their home in California to Clearwater Beach, Florida, to celebrate their two year anniversary, and wanted a beach engagement photos session.
Besides creating beautiful photographs to remember this special time in their lives, they also wanted to practice posing in front of the camera, with professional guidance, before their wedding day. (This is one of the reasons that I feel so strongly that every couple should have an engagement photos before their wedding day.)
I was happy to be chosen as their engagement photographer!
We decided to meet at Sand Key Beach, in Clearwater, Florida, for their engagement beach photos session. You may remember from my prior posts that I love this location. It’s a little off the beaten path, with crisp white sand and wonderful sea breezes.
Well, back to these two beautiful people! They shared their adorable engagement story with me. They got engaged on Amanda’s birthday (how great is that!) while vacationing in South Dakota. Nick placed the ring in her champagne glass during dinner. How romantic!
This lovely couple is getting married in California in March 2021, and their nuptials will include Chinese traditions. They decided to have their beach engagement session at a different location, since they love to travel. They’ve traveled all over the world (including Bangkok, where I’m from!) so we hit it off right away.
Nick and Amanda are a beautiful couple who are deeply in love, and they were a dream to work with. I’m so happy with how their photos turned out!
