Nina and Ethan came all the way from St. Louis for some dreamy Clearwater Beach engagement session. This was their first time in Florida, and we made sure to make it memorable!
First, a little background on this sweet couple. Nina and Ethan were two shy young adults who were just hoping to meet someone without having to hang out in bars. They met each other on the dating site Plenty of Fish and had dinner and a movie on their first date.
Nina says she’s a kid at heart, so the movie that they watched was Frozen! They have been together for seven years now and are as happy as they’ve ever been.
I absolutely loved working with this couple. They had never had professional pictures taken before, but I never would have guessed that! They allowed me to choose the locations and listened to instructions so well. We started the session up away from the water to get some greener shots with Florida palm trees in the background.
Nina and Ethan were so friendly and easy to engage with throughout their Clearwater Beach Engagement session, resulting in gorgeous photos with natural expressions.
Not only were these guys kind and friendly, but they were adventurous and eager to try things out! For the second half of their session, Nina changed into a beautiful long, flowy purple dress and we headed down to the beach.
Nina and Ethan went barefoot in the water and ran through the waves. Ethan wasn’t afraid to get his pants wet, and we got some really cute shots of them laughing and playing at the water’s edge. We even popped a bottle of champagne for a fun celebration photo.
This Clearwater Beach engagement session was so much fun and couldn’t have taken place on a nicer day. Florida beaches in May are breathtaking. The sky in the spring season is gorgeous and makes such a unique background for portraits. Sand Key Beach was so perfect on this day. The weather was not too hot and the breeze was relaxing and added to the photos we were taking. I am so happy for this loving couple and wish them all the happiness in the world!
