Adam and Kayla are the cutest couple on their St.Pete Pier Engagement Photos. It is impossible to spend any time with them and not fall in love with their love.
Before these two met, Kayla had sworn off dating after ending a long-term relationship. Her friends convinced her to try out the dating app called Hinge, and she reluctantly agreed. Only two hours after creating her profile, she had a comment from Adam.
They started chatting back and forth, and he ended up being the one and only guy she talked to on Hinge. It was simply meant to be! For their first date, they went ice skating together, which made for the perfect excuse to hold hands right away. Kayla remembers their first date together as very romantic.
These two defied the odds and managed to stay together through the COVID pandemic. Their relationship stayed strong even when their dates had to be through screen doors! Kayla worked in the healthcare field and didn’t want to risk exposing Adam to anything. After about a year of dating, they moved to Florida together, and the rest is history!
Adam loves that Kayla is kind, selfless, and motivated. Kayla says that Adam always knows how to put a smile on her face, and she loves how deeply he cares about his friends and family. It was so special for me to take these two back to the beautiful new pier in downtown St. Pete for their engagement session, as this was the spot where Adam proposed.
For this session, we got up early and did a sunrise shoot. The St. Pete pier is on the east side, and there are a few people in the morning. Another benefit of the sunrise shoot is that the weather is usually better in the mornings. The one downfall is that my brain does not function at 100% so early in the morning! But Adam and Kayla were total sweethearts and were patient with me.
These two had never had professional pictures taken before, which made the session even more fun. They were open to all of my instructions and were so easy to interact with. This allowed us to capture some really beautiful and natural St.Pete Pier engagement photos. It was a pleasure to work with Adam and Kayla.
