1 | EXERCISE

I know it can be hard to find the time or even the motivation to exercise. From my experience, I have found that if I sign up for classes that hold me accountable to show up, I get into a really great exercise routine.

I recommend yoga or pilates as they are a great combination of exercise but also some good relaxation. But the most important thing is to pick classes you actually like so that you are excited to exercise.

2 | BEAUTY REST

I know it’s cliche, but it really is the truth. The more sleep you get, the healthier you look and feel. Be sure to optimize your REM cycle by going to bed earlier so you don’t miss out on those essential sleep hours that recharge your body.

Sleep will help you get sick less, maintain a healthy weight, reduce your stress, and get along better with people. Go get that sleep!

3 | VITAMINS

Get in those vitamins that will help you look and feel better. Some recommendations are Collagen, which is great for your hair and nails so they will look their best on your wedding day.

I also love Vitamin C because it is great for your skin and it boosts your immunity so you will be glowing and healthy on your special day.

4 | HEALTHY EATING

I am not talking about dieting, because you should love your body and not stress about changing it for your wedding day. But you should fuel your body with healthy food. It will give you the energy you need to plan your wedding.

Refrain from or limit your alcohol intake leading up to the wedding. You have a clear mind and you can focus on yourself and your planning. When you eat better you feel better. I know you want to be feeling your best for your big day.

5 | RELAX AND RECHARGE

My final and favorite advice for brides-to-be is to do your wedding planning in the bathtub. Draw yourself a lavender bubble bath while you check out wedding venues on your phone or while you schedule your hair appointment.

I know the work has to get done for the wedding. It doesn’t mean you can’t get some relaxation and rejuvenation time in while you do it.

Don’t let yourself get tossed to the side for the sake of wedding planning. You deserve to take care of yourself leading up to your wedding. Take the time and effort to do so and I know you’ll be so glad you did. I hope this 5 Ways to Prepare Yourself Before Your Wedding Day Blog will help you before your wedding day.
