Today’s blog post is dedicated to my favorite family photos from last year. There were so many fun and loving portraits to choose from, it was so hard to narrow it down! But, here they are. Twenty of my favorite family photos.
As I was looking through all of the beautiful family sessions I had done last year, I was reminded of how much fun I had working with these families and creating portraits that were unique to them and their relationships. I chose several of these shots because I feel like they truly capture the emotion and love that these family members have for each other. I enjoy capturing natural shots that capture personality, especially of children.
This is another thing that I looked for as I was choosing my favorites. Happy, authentic kids make for the sweetest family photos. You can tell when a child is not enjoying themselves at a session, or simply doesn’t want to be there. I love these photos because the kids are happy to be there, and those smiles are genuine.
I love a good family photo where the outfits are on point. What everyone is wearing can truly make or break a session. Whether the parents and kids are in coordinating colors, or everyone is simply dressed to impress, the outfits in these photos are some of my favorites!
Finally, the locations of these family sessions were some of my all-time favorites. From stunning Florida beaches to stylish client homes, I loved being able to capture these backgrounds! My outdoor shots were especially fun to take. I was able to document the most beautiful sunsets and sandy beaches that Florida has to offer.
I cannot wait for another year full of fun family sessions to shoot. Whether they are new clients, or I’ve been working with them for years, I love getting to work with such wonderful families!
