It was such an honor for me to capture the Marrow’s first family portraits. Technically, baby boy Marrow hasn’t arrived yet, but I still think it counts. Annette and Marcus flew in all the way from Chicago for a romantic babymoon trip to Clearwater Beach. Scheduling their maternity photos on Clearwater Beach. While on their babymoon was such a fun and memorable way to capture this special time together before they became new parents.
Annette and Marcus have been together for over five years now and have been waiting excitedly to be parents for a couple of years. Annette said, “I was nervous about becoming a mother, but now that I am quite close, I have learned to embrace my changing body and love every little kick I feel from my baby boy. We are very excited overall. ” It was obvious from her loving demeanor that she was going to be an amazing mother. And Marcus was so incredibly sweet throughout the maternity session that I can tell that he is going to be the sweetest dad.
On the day of the session, the beach that we originally planned on using was completely rained out. Luckily. There are so many beaches to choose from on the Florida coast that we were able to drive only ten minutes and find a beach that was completely clear.
I am so grateful. That we didn’t give up and cancel our Maternity Photos on Clearwater Beach because this session was so much fun.
Annette and Marcus were so adventurous and open to my ideas. We captured beautiful barefoot moments in the sand, and Annette even kneeled down near the water for some gorgeous mom-to-be portraits.
Mama chose a playful, flowing blue floral dress with off-the-shoulder sleeves. Dad went with a classic white shirt and long pants look that are so perfect for a beach session.
I loved working with these kind soon-to-be parents. We were met with a rainy Clearwater Beach day. However we were able to turn things around thanks to a little flexibility.
After spending the day with the Marrows. It is clear that their baby boy is going to be surrounded by love. I hope that they bring him back to Florida soon for some updated family photos!
