I love hearing my couples’ backstories. This couple grew up side by side without realizing that the love of their life was one classroom over. Emily and Anthony were in the same group of classes starting in first grade, through middle and high school. Into college they have been in the same group of friends.
Years later, Emily happened to run into Anthony’s parents at a New Year’s Party. They asked on Anthony’s behalf if she was single, and before long the two were chatting and dating long distance! They’ve been together for 4 years now.
It is a good thing that this couple is adventurous. We had their engagements scheduled back in the summer. However on that date, it was raining cats and dogs! We decided to reschedule for the fall and did not regret it. We couldn’t have asked for a better day for an engagement session; it was 67 degrees and sunny! It was a perfect romantic Tampa Beach Engagement Photos.
The nice weather put Anthony in a good mood, but he was not overly excited about the session. He’s not the only one who feels uncomfortable in front of the camera. If you want to know how to get your fiancee on board for engagement photos, I have a blog for that.
By the end of the session, Anthony felt more comfortable and realized that engagements can even be fun! We got talking about how he loves to cook for Emily. Especially Italian pasta and pizza like the ones they get from their favorite restaurant, Olivia Tampa Italian Restaurant.
Emily and I got along so well because she has a creative job as well. It was such an honor to capture their engagement portraits. This is such a sweet couple, and I can’t wait to celebrate their big day at The Orlo. Here are some of my favorites from Emily and Anthony’s St. Pete Beach engagement session!
