The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature in Brandon, FL isn’t just a museum but their backyard also turns out to have a beautiful wedding. As a photographer, I fell in love with this amazing venue right the way! Between Kaitlin’s sweetest and Micheal’s fun and playful personality, they are just wonderful to spend time with. What is most incredible about this couple is the devoted love they have for their friends, family and most especially for each other.
I monitored the weather all week leading up to the big day. The forecast was calling for rain on their wedding day. That morning it poured down rain, but I hoped for the best and eventually the clouds started to clear. It had to clear, just for a few hours. It was her dream wedding day. Kaitlin worked so hard to plan their ceremony outside at this beautiful venue, I wished so hard it would clear up. Just in time for their first look the rain died down and the sun started to peek through the clouds! It was so fitting that the bridal party entered the ceremony to “Here Comes the Sun!”.
It was a wedding-day-weather-miracle at The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature venue! Not only did the rain stop just in time for the ceremony to take place, but it also dropped the temperature and brought some perfect lingering cloud-cover that provided perfect lighting without any need for sunglasses.
I feel like the weather on Kaitlin and Micheal’s wedding day was such a representation of life. There will be storms that come our way, but the sun will always come back out again and shine through, even on the darkest of days.
As Kaitlin and Micheal celebrated the best day of their lives with the people they loved most, I couldn’t help but share in their joy at this beautiful venue as I clicked away with my camera. Moments like these are the ones I am truly grateful to be a part of. I truly love what I do.
